Speaking to Betfred, Glen Johnson said: "I don't think Chelsea are regretting their decision to let Kai Havertz leave for Arsenal this summer.
"He wasn't doing what he's doing for Arsenal now. It's great for him and Arsenal but he wasn't doing this at Chelsea so hindsight is a wonderful thing.
"Everyone could say 'I wish we never sold him', but you have to deal with what's going on at the time and Havertz and Chelsea just weren't working.
"Don't get me wrong, I know that he scored some big goals in some finals but you've got another 40 games of football to concentrate on as well."
Havertz managed to properly announce himself in the Premier League after making the £65 million switch from Arsenal to Chelsea last summer.
The German netted a brace in a 5–0 win against his former side a home on on Wednesday as the Gunners push in the 2023/24 title race.
