Real Madrid 'have inquired' about Lautaro Martinez, reports Mario Cortegana.

The Whites want to know if it's possible to sign the Argentine already this summer.

Lautaro has scored 28 goals and provided 11 assists for Inter Milan this season, also reaching the Champions League final and winning the World Cup with Argentina.

The club are also being linked with such names as Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and Roberto Firmino, although the latter would rather arrive as a back-up striker.

Meanwhile, Karim Benzema's future is up in the air. Real Madrid 'feel' that the Frenchman is edging towards a move to a Saudi Arabian club. In this case, they would do everything possible to replace the 35-year-old with a top striker.
