While many neutrals didn't expect Real Madrid to overturn the fixture against Paris Saint-Germain after losing 1-0 in the first leg, Karim Benzema didn't have the slightest doubt it would happen.
At least that's what his WhatsApp dialogue with French rapper Niska reveals, as the latter posted their conversation online shortly after the game.
Benzema: "Go straight there! It's gonna be explosive"
Niska: "They want your head, they are ready. But you and Vini are too good now."
Benzema: "They aren't going to do anything, this is my story."
It was truly Benzema's story as he went on to score a hat-trick inside 17 minutes, making the score 3-1 in Real Madrid's favour and 3-2 on aggregate. Now, the Whites are through to the Champions League quarter-finals.
