"If he decides to stay, he will stay because it is our desire. I think that Kylian Mbappe and his entourage are going through this all very quietly," Paris Saint-Germain's sporting director Leonardo has told Journal du Dimanche.
"But it is a complicated situation because we would like him to stay all his life in Paris, but we have to respect their position too. I think we still have good chances to extend it. I believe in it."
Meanwhile, Mbappe's contract at PSG is set to expire at the end of the season. Starting with January 1, he will be free to enter negotiations with other clubs.
It is believed that Real Madrid will be his next destination. Kylian wanted to join us last summer, but the Parisians refused to sell him even for the astonishing sum of €200m.
