Bruno Fernandes is being strongly linked to potentially leave Man United in the summer transfer window.
But Erik ten Hag is not paying any attention to this. Ahead of the Newcastle United match, he revealed Bruno’s importance and remarked: “I think that it is clear. He is, also now, but I think in all the years.
“I think he was a tremendously important player for Manchester United and creating the most chances across the whole Premier League. So many assists, so many goals, it is clear he is a very important player for us.”
Fernandes still keeps being linked to a move out of Old Trafford in the summer. The Portuguese midfielder is reportedly attracting interest from Inter Milan and Bayern Munich, with the Bavarians particularly interested in signing him.
There is also interest from Saudi Arabia for Bruno, but he’s unlikely to accept that offer. With 15 goals and 11 assists, Fernandes has been one of Man United’s best players and the club would face a major blow if forced to sell him.
