Who was Ten Hag pointing at after McTominay's opener vs Coventry? Explained

Scott McTominay has put Man United ahead against Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

The Scottish midfielder was in the right place at the right time to score a tap-in after an excellent cross from Diogo Dalot.

After the goal, the cameras caught Erik ten Hag celebrating passionately and he could be pointing at some player with much pride.

It turns out that he was actually pointing at Dalot to pump him up after the full-back had indicated to the gaffer about how he perfectly implemented his plans.

Here's what ESPN's Rob Dawson stated of this exchange: "Ten Hag spoke to Dalot during the break in play then 10 seconds later, Dalot gets to the byline and crosses for McTominay to score. Dalot turns to point at Ten Hag during his celebrations."

McTominay, meanwhile, has reached 10 goals for the first time in a single season for Man United and continues to come clutch in the FA Cup.
