Man United have been impressed with what they’ve seen of Benfica midfielder Joao Neves in the 2023/24 season.
As per Record, the Red Devils are refusing to end their interest in signing the young midfielder and hope to convince him to join them in the summer.
Man United are also ready to pay as high as €100m to get the deal done, the Portuguese outlet seems to indicate.
Neves, a sturdy defensive midfielder noted for his defensive skills and passing ability, has attracted praise from Bruno Fernandes this season too.
With that being said, Man United will probably have to sell some of their existing midfielders first to accommodate a place for Neves and clear up enough funds.
The 19-year-old has made 47 appearances for Benfica so far this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
