A solid half, well involved in the attack as well as shielding the back.
Rasmus Hojlund - 7
Needs to get on the scoresheet but surely making a good effort on his comeback.
Kobbie Mainoo - 9
Easily one of the best performers among both sides. He's winning the ball and holding onto possession strongly, which is an issue for Man United.
Scott McTominay - 7
Unlucky to not get a goal for all of his efforts in the attack so far.

Marcus Rashford - 4
He's been involved but surely, Rashford has more up his sleeve in a cup match against Liverpool? He's also not very good at tracking back.
Contributing well to the attack but not as involved in key moments. He's certainly working hard but no assists or goals to show for it.
Bruno Fernandes - 5
To be fair, he was playing well till he went down unnecessarily for a soft tackle which led to Liverpool's second goal. Might not be a bad idea for Bruno to tone down the melodrama.
