The agreement will allow the 35-year-old to feature in the pre-season for the Red devils while he continues to search for a new club.

Evans will be part of the matchday squad against

Sheikh Jassim’s recent-most bid is rumored to be £4.6bn – but still falls short of the Glazers demands.

The American family want much more than that amount to completely sell the club to the Qatari Sheikh or anyone else.

As it stands, the Glazers have not taken a final decision on selling Man United and will remain as the club’s owners for the foreseeable future.
