Jordan Pickford breaks silence on his future amid Man United links

Jordan Pickford has been on Manchester United's transfer radar this summer if the latest reports are to be believed.

However, the Red Devils are nearing completion of a deal for Andre Onana. Apparently, Pickford is no longer a prime target then.

According to Pickford though, leaving Everton was never a choice despite their close call with relegation last season.

When asked if he intends to spend his future with the Toffees, Pickford told The Athletic: "Definitely. I've just signed a new contract and I'm happy and my family is happy so now we just want to move forward as a club."

Man United may have missed out on Pickford but Onana is an excellent choice to replace David De Gea, who has left as a free agent.
