Took the pitch 66 minutes into the game and showed more passion, desire and quality than any other Man United player. Scored the Red Devils' only effort of the clash, capitalising on a fortunate deflection in Crystal Palace's box.

Made a number of mistakes while distrubuting the ball but balanced it out with a couple of great saves. Saved a penalty but fell victim to the combination of the new rules, goalline, a few millimetres and VAR. It's quite telling that the keeper who conceded three goals from five shots on target was one of United's best performers.
- Victor Lindelof - 2
An owful performance. Failed to stop Jeffrey Schlupp's cross for Palace's opener, got called for a handball in the box, giving away a penalty, and failed to mark Wilfried Zaha properly when the latter scored the third.
- Harry Maguire - 3
Lacked presence both as the captain and as a defender. Along with Lindelof, provided one of the worst performances for United's centre-back duo in a long while. His immobility was severely punished by Palace's forwards.
- Paul Pogba - 3
Was as sloppy as it gets. Completed just 75.5 per cent of his passes, made no key passes, was dispossessed three times, committed three fouls and did not contribute anything to the game defensively or offensively. Was replaced by Van de Beek in the second half.
- Marcus Rashford - 3
Could not provide any impact on the clash. Did not have a great match in terms of the link-up game and attempted just one shot - which did not land on target. Along with Anthony Martial, engaged in over 20 duels throghout the clash, winning only two.
- Mason Greenwood - 6
Took the pitch at the break and immediately added creativity and desire. Was lively, helped United shake up their stagnating attack. Probably should've started over Daniel James.
