Liverpool to battle Newcastle, Spurs for free signing to replace Joel Matip (reliability: 4 stars)

According to the London Evening Standard, Liverpool are among the teams interested in Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo.

The 26-year-old is set to become a free agent after informing Fulham of his intention to play at a higher level.

Newcastle, Tottenham, West Ham and AC Milan are all claimed to be interested in the Man City academy graduate as well. He's yet to decide on his next destination.

Adarabioyo has played for Fulham for four years, being a regular starter throughout his time at the club with a total of 129 appearances.

Liverpool are looking for a suitable option to bolster their centre-back options as Joel Matip is expected to leave in the summer. He was also a free signing back in 2016 and is departing for free eight years later.
