Bobby Clark confirms season-ending injury as breakthrough campaign ends

Bobby Clark has been one of the feel-good stories of the season for Liverpool.

The 19-year-old midfielder has made 12 first-team appearances, including one on the Carabao Cup final win, and scored his first senior goal for the Reds in the Europa League.

He has not played since March, though, and he won't play before the end of the season after picking up a season-ending injury.

"Unfortunately my season has came to an end early due to injury, time to focus on getting back fit for the new season," he tweeted.

The extent of the issue is not known, so we can only hope that Clark will be back in the team for the pre-season to try to impress Arne Slot.
