Liverpool & Salah to hold 'talks' over future in summer after Klopp row

The Telegraph report that Liverpool will hold talks with Mo Salah over his future in the summer, after the end of the current season.

The Reds are expected to turn down offers from the Saudi Pro League this summer, just like they did last year.

The Egyptian's contract runs out in 2025 and there is a possibility that he leaves on free transfer after the end of the next season. Liverpool have a history of letting players run down their contracts: Wijnaldum, Lallana in the past and Thiago this season.

However, a new deal for Salah is under consideration as well. He currently earns £350,000 a week at Liverpool.

The club is not discouraged by the 31-year-old's slump in form in the past few months. Liverpool believe he will be in his best shape next season. The Egyptian's touchline row with Jurgen Klopp will not have an effect on his future.
