Wataru Endo put in a really solid shift in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw and frustrated Kevin de Bruyne & co with his defensive work.

A blink-and-you-miss-it moment from the game has now emerged where the Japanese midfielder really flustered the Man City star.

It happened in the first half when the ball was played to De Bruyne near the touch line, but Endo pressed him instantly to steal the ball away from him.

The Belgian midfielder was left to fix his hair in frustration and perhaps surprised at how quickly the ball was dispossessed from him.

Endo protected the Liverpool backline pretty well in the intense, end-to-end affair and continues to prove why he deserves to keep playing in that no.6 role for the Reds.
