Liverpool want Gladbach's Manu Kone (reliability: 5 stars)

Liverpool have been linked with a summer move for Gladbach midfielder Manu Kone.

"Manu Kone is one of the midfielders on Liverpool’s list," Fabrizio Romano wrote in his Caught Offside column.

"He’s highly rated and Liverpool are already informed on the conditions of the deal. Parties feel there’s a good chance for Kone to leave Borussia Monchengladbach this summer, so he’ll be one to watch."

German newspaper Bild adds that the Reds are very serious about the Frenchman, who would cost between €40m and €45m.

Kone's biggest strengths are tackling and carrying the ball forward.
