6 potential arrivals, 9 departures: Liverpool's latest transfer round-up

The summer transfer window will be open in less than three months - but there are no shortage of transfer stories concerning Liverpool. Here are the most important of them.

INs

Jude Bellingham. By far, the most tedious Liverpool transfer saga is set to conclude this summer. According to the latest reports, Man City and Real Madrid are thought to be better positioned in the race - but Liverpool haven't given up yet.

Mason Mount. The Reds are thought to be the frontrunners for the England international if he fails to reach an agreement with Chelsea

Matheus Nunes. Liverpool reportedly eyed the 24-year-old while he was at Sporting - and his first year at Wolves kept him on their radar.

Joao Palhinha. The Daily Mail claimed that Liverpool were 'the most serious suitors' for the Fulham midfielder who has become one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League less than a year after arriving there.

Gavi. Probably the most outlandish option that has been made slightly more possible after Barcelona failed to register his contract. If that does not happen before June 30, the 18-year-old will be a free agent. As Leo Messi's story tells us, there's no guarantee Barca can make it work.

Josko Gvardiol. It's not only about midfielders for Liverpool as they also want to strengthen their defensive line. The RB Leipzig centre-back is their preferred target - although, like with Bellingham, other clubs could be in a stronger position.

OUTs

Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian has communicated to the club his desire to leave as a free agent. Jurgen Klopp has confirmed this.

Naby Keita. As per The Athletic, the Guinean has been informed that his contract will not be renewed.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 29-year-old will also leave Liverpool as a free agent - his fate has been sealed for months.

Arthur. Yet another midfielder certain to leave Liverpool this summer, Arthur never managed to make an impact at Anfield during a one-year loan.

Adrian. The third-choice keeper is likely to leave as a free agent as well after four seasons at Anfield.

James Milner. Unlike the players above, the veteran's future is yet to be determined as his current deal also expires this summer. The conversations are expected to take place at the end of the season.

Nat Phillips. The centre-back who has just turned 26 years old was close to leaving Liverpool in several transfer windows. Now, his exit is deemed 'inevitable'.

Caoimhin Kelleher. The Irishman could be tempted to join another club as the first-choice keeper. Liverpool are expected to demand around ₤20m.

Joel Matip. Apart from Phillips, Matip is thought to be the likeliest centre-back to leave if Liverpool decide to revamp the defensive line.
