Origi 'open to leaving' Liverpool in search of first-team football
  • According to the Mirror, Divock Origi is 'open to leaving' this summer as he wants more playing time.
  • The report claims that newly promoted team Leeds United have contacted the Reds over a potential transfer.
  • However, Marco Bielsa's team will only go for the Premier League winner if they fail in their bid to land top target Odsonne Edouard from Celtic.
  • Origi would like to stay in the Premier League - the striker has also been linked with a move away to Aston Villa.
  • Origi joined Liverpool back in 2014 for £10 million and while he has some legendary moments in the Red jersey, his playing time has been limited to a bench role and he scored just 4 goals in 28 appearances last season.
  • We must mention that the Mirror is not the best source for rumours and it can't be known for sure whether Origi wants to leave Anfield.

Would you be okay with the club letting Origi leave if a good offer comes, or do you want him to stay? Let us know your thoughts by using our blog platform to write a post on the striker's Anfield future!
