Bayern Munich are working hard to strike a deal with Thomas Tuchel, hoping to keep him as their manager as they've hit roadblocks while trying to find a replacement for him.
Xabi Alonso has committed to staying at Leverkusen, and Bayern's attempts to secure Austria's coach, Ralf Rangnick, were unsuccessful. The club is also keeping an eye on Roberto De Zerbi, but enticing him away from Brighton would come at a high cost.
Right now Tuchel is the one who has doubts about staying as he needs some guarantees.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano: "The crucial points for Tuchel to stay are the total approval from the supervisory board and contract extension. Tuchel wants to feel full confidence in order to accept to stay."
