Callum Wilson has extended his contract with Newcastle until the summer of 2025. This means Magpies fans get to enjoy his goal-scoring prowess at St. James' Park for a while longer.
Quoted by the official Newcastle website, Wilson said: "I'm delighted to extend my time here. It's a fantastic football club, I've been welcomed ever since I came through the door and now the club's going in a fantastic direction and on a journey so it's nice to commit my future to be to being a part of that."

Since his arrival from AFC Bournemouth in September 2020, Wilson has been on fire. He's found the back of the net 40 times in 79 league games for Newcastle. This season alone, he's already scored two goals in just four appearances.
His goal-scoring record has catapulted him to the fifth spot in the club's all-time Premier League goalscorers chart. He's just one goal away from matching the legendary Les Ferdinand, and if he scores eight more, he'll be just behind Alan Shearer.
