'I made him understand': Ibrahimovic reveals major role he played in Tonali’s journey to Premier League

Zlatan Ibrahimovic said he has taught Sandro Tonali "the right mentality" before his move to Newcastle.

Quoted by the Sun, Ibrahimovic said: "Is he ready for the Premier League? Yes, I think so. Sure, it depends on him. I made him understand the right mentality he must have in order to win, and he won."

"He grew up a lot with Milan, he has a great responsibility and still has to grow, but in England, he will do it, and he will do it well."

Sandro Tonali is on the verge of completing a transfer to Newcastle for €70m. Currently, Tonali is representing the Italy U21 national team in Romania, while Newcastle's medical staff traveled last week to finalize the deal.
