Zlatan Ibrahimovic asked to name his all-time teammates XI

Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently announced his retirement at the age of 41. Following AC Milan's final match of the season, Ibrahimovic decided to hang up his boots and take time to reflect on his accomplishments.

Back in 2018, Ibrahimovic was asked to create an all-time best XI of his teammates, given his extensive experience at the highest level of European football.

Interestingly, fans observed a detail in a picture of Ibrahimovic's handwritten team. Along with the starting eleven, he also named five substitutes: Julio Cesar, Andres Iniesta, Fabio Cannavaro, Gennaro Gattuso, and Clarence Seedorf. However, one name, David de Gea was crossed out.

Starting with his debut for Swedish club Malmo in 1999, Ibrahimovic went on to score an impressive 511 goals in club football while representing some of Europe's biggest teams. He had stints at Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and LA Galaxy in the MLS.
