Vitor Roque next destination this summer unveiled – not a Spanish club

Vitor Roque is all set to join FC Porto on loan this summer, Portuguese outlet A Bola reports.

Roque prefers to stay and succeed at Barca but that seems almost impossible for the immediate future as head coach Xavi does not rate the youngster.

Roque hasn't appeared in any of Barca's last five matches and has failed to add to the miserly 310 minutes of football he completed when he featured for 62 minutes against Cadiz.

Last week, Barca's sporting director Deco made the decision to ship Roque on loan at the end of the season.

Porto is now the likeliest destination for the 19-year-old as Barca are planning to use him as a bargaining chip to land Porto winger Pepe.

Roque has 2 goals in his 13 appearances for Barca this term. Last season he bagged 21 goals in 45 senior appearances for Athletico Paranaense despite suffering an ankle injury that sidelined him for nearly 3 months.
