Where Barca could be placed in 24/25 Champions League pots and potential opponents revealed

Barcelona have already secured qualification to the 2024/25 Champions League after their recent win over Valencia.

Barca will play in the competition next seaosn and as per estimations, they will be placed in pot 1 ahead of the league stage seeding.

The Blaugrana have managed to keep their coefficient rankings high, meaning they can get a place in Pot 1 alongside the likes of Real Madrid, Man City and PSG.

This will also allow them to be better placed for the league stage seeding than teams like Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan.

Of course, the 2024/25 Champions League format is about to totally change and every team will be playing eight matches in the league stages (four home and four away).

But a better standing in the pots could benefit Barca and help them in getting relatively easier fixtures and improve their chances of getting to the knockout stages.

Barca reached the quarter-finals of the 2023/24 Champions League before being knocked out by PSG.
