Sergi Roberto: 'I apologise to everyone'

"The team were playing well until they [Girona] made it 2-2. I'm leaving angry because it was my mistake. I apologise to everyone," Sergi Roberto has told the media.

"We no longer depend on ourselves. We have to win the games we have left and wait for Girona to drop points," the captain added.

Sergi Roberto carelessly gave the possession away when Barca had a one-goal lead in the second half – this led to Girona's equaliser.

Barcelona are now in third place, one point behind Girona. They need to finish second to qualify for the 2024/25 Supercopa.
