Joan Laporta heard screaming 5 words in locker room after Girona defeat

"This can't be like this!" Joan Laporta was shouting in Barcelona's locker room after the 4-2 loss to Girona, according to Diario Sport's Jordi Gil.

The president was furious. The vice-president, Rafa Yuste, and sporting director Deco were also by his side.

Laporta was watching the game live from the stands of Girona's home stadium. Let's not forget this was also a Catalan derby – and Barca lost to Girona again this season which wasn't the case at all before the current campaign.

Barcelona have to finish second if they want to participate in the 2024/25 Supercopa and get back to the 1:1 transfer rule which would allow them to make big signings this summer.
