Robert Lewandowski's future at Barca remains uncertain — Xavi

The future of star striker Robert Lewandowski at Barcelona remains uncertain until the end of the season, according to Barca coach Xavi.

"We highly value Lewandowski's presence in the team. As for his future, we will decide at the end of the season," Xavi said in his press conference.

Lewandowski has recently stated he wants to stay at Barcelona for 2-3 more seasons with reports claiming he won't leave the club even if he's offered all the money in the world.

Note that Lewandowski is Barca's second-highest earner after Frenkie De Jong and Barca may already be considering letting go of the 35-year-old.

However, Lewa's contract at Barca runs for two more years with an option for a third season. It means the final decision will lie with the player, not the club. If Lewandowski doesn't want to leave Barca can do almost nothing to push him out.

Lewandowski is Barca's top scorer this season with 23 goals. He could very well win the Pichichi as La Liga's top scorer for the second season running.
