Barcelona's summer transfer plan explained in 30 seconds

Based on priority, this summer Barcelona will look to sign a top defensive midfielder, a wide forward and a probably striker, depending on what happens with Vitor Roque, per Relevo.

Barca are also expected to sign a midfielder to replace Oriol Romeu if he leaves. The man being touted for that position is Real Betis Guido Rodriguez who will be a free agent in the summer.

Wilfred Ndidi is another name being mentioned to replace Romeu, but the priority for Barca's midfield pivot remains Joshua Kimmich, regardless of who stays or goes.

Joao Felix wept for joy when Barca unveiled him as their player in September. He'll now be praying that Barca decides to keep him for next season after his loan spell. If that happens, the Blaugrana are unlikely to pursue another winger.

Joao Cancelo is in an identical position as Felix. If Barca decides to let him return to Man City then they'd need to sign a new fullback or depend on La Masia graduates — Alejandro Balde or Hector Fort.

Names like Bernardo Silva, Dani Olmo and Kimmich are the expensive targets for Barca this summer and you'd assume they'd sign at least one of those.
