Lewandowski: No one outruns me in training. I want to stay at Barca for at least two more years

"Saying goodbye [to Barca] is definitely out of question for me. Leaving the club in the summer is not an issue," Robert Lewandowski has told Bild.

"Physically, I feel good again now. I had physical problems in the first half of the season, right from the beginning of the pre-season. Things got better in 2024. I played good games, sometimes in a different role, as a false nine. I was able to provide assists and help shape the game.

"As long as I continue to feel as good as I do now and notice in training that no one is outrunning me, I want to keep playing.

"As of today, I say I'll stay here for two more years at least," the Pole concluded.

Earlier, it was reported that Barcelona could part ways with the 35-year-old this summer already.

Lewandowski's current deal with Blaugrana expires in 2026. It could also be extended for one extra year.

The striker has netted 20 goals and provided nine assists in 43 appearances for the Catalans this season.
