Barca editor Kingsley predicts result for PSG-Barcelona

🔴🔵Hola Culers! It's time again to look into our crystal ball to see what awaits Barcelona in their crunch Champions League quarter-final against PSG in Paris.

Barca have recovered some injured key players like Pedri, Frenkie and Christensen. They've also had nine days to prepare for this game.

However, the odds are still stacked against Barca. They face a foe that knocked them out of the competition in 2021. In 2017, PSG beat Barca 4-0 at the same venue even with MSN on parade, although the Remontada followed at Camp Nou.

This time though, PSG are unbeaten since November and have a coach like Luis Enrique who has more experience in the Champions League than Xavi. He even coached and won the competition with Barcelona. That tells you how much he knows the Catalans.

Enrique isn't the only PSG protagonist who understands Barca. There's Ousmane Dembele too – a key winger at Barca until last year.

Barca are indeed a solid team with 11 games unbeaten coming into this fixture. But they still have a soft underbelly as they rely on teenagers and play a high line all of which could be exposed by PSG's speed and precision with Kylian Mbappe spearheading their attack.

Add all that to the hostile atmosphere expected from the noisy crowd in Paris and you get why I can't see Barca picking up a good result against PSG.

My FT prediction: PSG 3-1 Barcelona
