Speaking in his podcast with Caughtoffside, Fabrizio Romano named Barcelona among the clubs who have shown an interest in signing Marcus Thuram this summer.
Thuram is proving himself in Germany having scored 14 goals in 24 games for Borussia Monchengladbach this season plus four assists.
The Frenchman looks every bit the ideal number 9 to back up Lewandowski after they sold Aubameyang to Chelsea last summer.
Thuram is still in his mid-20s and has a market value of €32m, per Transfermarkt. However, Barcelona can sign him for free as his contract ends this June. Monchengladbach already confirmed their striker will join a new club at the end of the season.
Thuram's father, Lilian, who played for Barca between 2006 and 2008 already confirmed that his son dreams of playing for Barca.
