Opening talks between Barca and PSG over Dembele fail, player could stay — multiple reports

Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have been in contact over a potential swap deal including Ousmane Dembele.

The parties could not find a solution despite the Parisians offering several players. More talks are expected in the coming hours, although Dembele's exit is seen as 'complicated'.

Tanzi Loic claims that Dembele isn't expected to leave this month despite negotiations between the clubs. PSG are among the best-placed clubs to sign him for free in the summer, though.

Finally, Helena Condis says that Tottenham Hostpur made a last-minute offer for the Frenchman on Sunday. The Catalans did accept it since Spurs couldn't afford Dembele's full salary and agent commission.
