Aston Villa are interested in signing Conor Gallagher, reports The Telegraph's Matt Law.
There is a good relationship between Chelsea and Aston Villa. Besides, the Blues were said to consider the signing of Villa striker Jhon Duran in January.
Tottenham Hotspur also remain interested in landing the midfielder. They are apparently the best-positioned club in the race for the 24-year-old.
Chelsea reportedly value Gallagher at about £50m; however, they could lower the price tag given that the Englishman has a year left on his current deal.
There is no breakthrough in Gallagher's contract talks with Chelsea; besides, the Blues may be forced to sell players this summer, so his departure is quite possible.
Conor Gallagher has recorded 16 goal contributions in 49 appearances for Mauricio Pochettino's side this season.
