'I'm not involved': Pochettino says Gallagher future not in his hands

Conor Gallagher's contract with Chelsea expires in the summer of 2025 and it has not been extended yet. There are persisistent rumours that he could be sold in the summer.

The midfielder has been one of the most consistent players this season and provided an assist in the Blues' 2-0 win against Spurs on Thursday.

Mauricio Pochettino said about the Englishman's future, as quoted by the Evening Standard: “I am not involved, I know nothing, I cannot tell you.

“I think you can see in my starting XI I think, the whole season, was strong with him. He’s an important player of course.

“But I’m not involved in the decision, it’s the club and Conor. I’m not involved, that’s a situation that they need to fix between the club and the player.”
