Spotted: Mudryk squares up to Bruno Guimaraes after Newcastle man fouls Maatsen

In the added time of the Chelsea v Newcastle game, Bruno Guimaraes made a brutal challenge on Ian Maatsen. The Magpies midfielder nearly broke the Dutchman's leg.

After the foul, Mykhaylo Mudryk ran to Guimaraes and confronted him.

"Dirty tackle. So proud of Misha for standing up for his teammate," one Blues fan commented.

"Exactly my thoughts," another added. "This team lacks leaders so was so happy for Misha to stand up for the boys there. More fight like that please boys!"

The best thing to put Bruno back in his place was kicking Newcastle out of the League Cup — which Chelsea did on penalties.
