Newcastle interested in signing Lukaku (reliability: 4 stars)

Newcastle United are interested in signing Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku, as per Voetbalkrant.

Lukaku is on loan to AS Roma this season, who signed him for a fee of €8 million, with Chelsea playing all of the Belgian forward's wages for the year.

Romelu has been in fine form for Jose Mourinho's side this season, scoring 9 goals in 15 appearances this season.

Lukaku has already played for West Brom, Everton, Man United and Chelsea in the Premier League but is reportedly hesitant to add another to that list.

He is reported to be happy playing in Rome and would like to make his move permanent. Should Newcastle be in for him, Chelsea would likely hike his sale price for the Premier League rivals.
