The 33-year-old official will be refereeing his first-ever game involving the Blues after getting a promotion to the English top flight in recent seasons.

Mason Mount is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract at Chelsea and the midfielder's long-term future at the club is yet to be resolved.

According to Football Insider, a tier-three source, Liverpool will 'push hard' to sign the 24-year-old this summer if he refuses to commit at Stamford Bridge.

Football Insider claims that Chelsea are exploring a move for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez who has been linked with the Blues for a few years already.

Chelsea have been linked with Napoli star Victor Osimhen for a few months. However, the Italian club claim that the Nigerian is not for sale after the Serie A triumph.

“I will not sell Victor Osimhen this summer - no way,” Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis told Rai Sport.
