Kalidou Koulibaly 'up for sale', Chelsea already have replacement (reliability: 4 stars)

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Kalidou Koulibaly will be up for sale in the summer after just one season at Chelsea.

The centre-back could be sold even to a Premier League rival if the price is right.

However, as the report suggests, Juventus are currently leading the race. They are prepared to take Koulibaly on loan with an option to make it a permanent move. Head coach Massimiliano Allegri has already had a phone call with the 31-year-old.

As for Chelsea, they are already well-stocked in defence, especially when it comes to the left side. Benoit Badiashile should replace Koulibaly as a starter permanently, while Levi Colwill should also have a chance after a solid loan spell at Brighton.
