4 exceptional Euro 2020 stars Cheslea should consider signing

Euro 2020 may have started a year late but the competition has had plenty of excitement and drama around it since it began.

From Italy's dominant group stages, to Southgate's questionable picks and the odd underdog story, a lot of players have distinguished themselves already in this competition.

Considering that the Blues need answers in 2-3 positions in the transfer window, Tribuna.com takes a look at which players that have impressed at the Euros could be prospects for Chelsea.

Manuel Locatelli

Manuel Locatelli has been on the revelations of the tournament, running Italy's midfield alongside Chelsea's very own Jorginho.

Being compared to the likes of Pirlo, Locatelli has garnered lots of praise for his all-round performances in the middle of the park.

Although he is primarily a defensive midfielder, Locatelli clearly has goals in his game as well as the ability to find teammates with his passes.

With Chelsea already linked with players like Declan Rice, Locatelli does appear to be a more well-rounded option for the Blues.

A 4th midfielder is a priority and Chelsea could do worse than the Sassuolo man who already has chemistry with Jorginho.

Denzel Dumfries

Chelsea are famously in the race for Achraf Hakimi as the summer transfer window drags on for the Blues.

With Azpilicueta getting older and Reece James still quite young, a right-back that can play right wing-back seems to be one of the main holes to fill in this Blues squad.

Not only does he have two goals for his country so far in the Euros, Dumfries also managed 8 goal contributions in the Eridivisie last season.

Lastly, with Hakimi set to cost a rumoured €80m, Dumfries will be available for a lot cheaper. According to transfermarkt, his value is just €18m.

Alexander Isak

Alexander Isak of Sweden could be the answer for Chelsea in the striker role that they have needed to fill for a while now.

The Swede, who has invited comparisons to Zlatan, is an adept finisher as well as being able to operate with the ball at his feet.

Furthermore, Isak is just 21-year-old with plenty of room to grow and exactly fits the timeline for key players like Kai Havertz, Reece James and Mason Mount.

He had 17 goals in 30 games in La Liga last season, thrice the number of league goals any of Chelsea's strikers managed.

Alessandro Bastoni

The Inter Milan defender is another that has caught the eye at the Euros. With Italy going through the group stages without conceding a goal, he has quietly impressed behind the scenes for his country.

At the age of 22, Bastoni's another prospect that can be really good for a long time and potentially someone that can replace Thiago Silva in the starting line-up after next season.

His value according to transfermarkt.com is listed at around €80m but he could sort the centre-back position out for years to come for the Blues.
