Declan Rice's role in Leandro Trossard's goal deserves more credit

Leandro Trosard has scored a stunning goal to double Arsenal's lead over Bournemouth in the second half.

The goal was the result of a combined effort from Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice.

The play began when Saka fought off two opponents to find Havertz, who passed the ball to Odegaard.

Rice was actually quite far behind and nowhere close to the action until the ball reached Odegaard.

Immediately, Rice sprung into action and ran quickly to position himself perfectly to receive Odegaard's pass.

He made no mistake when Odegaard sent the ball his way, finding Trossard and the rest is history.
