Mikel Arteta labelled VAR an 'absolute disgrace' after the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United.

He did not hold back as he criticised VAR for allowing Anthony Gordon's goal to stand.

As Arteta clearly targetted the referees for incorrect decision-making, there were fears he may face punishment from the FA.

As per Football London though, the Arsenal boss did not specifically hint at bias from the referees. That means he could escape punishment, as he was only frustrated with decisions that went against his team.

Arteta was neither abusive nor did he make any personal attacks, meaning he should be able to get away with it.
