Arteta fires warning to Ramsdale, Havertz, others: 'No one is guaranteed a spot'

Mikel Arteta says none of his Arsenal players is guaranteed a spot in his starting XI.

"No one is guaranteed a spot. I don’t have a guaranteed spot,” the boss said after the victory over Everton on Sunday. 

Arteta made two surprise changes to his line-up, starting David Raya and Fabio Vieira over Aaron Ramsdale and Kai Havertz.

The manager has now confirmed that more of such unexpected selections could be ahead. 

The Gunners host PSV in the Champions League on Wednesday before the North London derby.
